Tashing on...

These photos are from yesterday's shoot but I just got round to finishing them all now. I must say I absolutely love them! It was so much fun! 

Below are my favourite pictures, especially the grey 'tash ones with biscuit crumbs in them! 

I thought I would upload this now too as it's the end of November & I will be uploading a picture to my Flickr tonight for December!!!

Today was so much fun, I had 4 beautiful girls in the studio, Zahida and Bronwyn doing Movember and then Sara and Nadia doing some commercial shots & a few for Movember too!

The girls brought loads of props in, as did I and I think it's safe to say we all had a blast!

And I had a shoot with 2 lovely models, Laura Carson and Bryony de Souza. I have shot with both of the girls before & they have been awesome.

We had an open day where our studio is so we put on a show (with lots of men staring at the beautiful models!) which made our day! And it was so much fun, just a totally chilled day again with different lighting techniques and we used the fan for a few cheesy commercial shots which my portfolio needed.

I am really thrilled with the outcome, I didn't think I would have achieved such great photos if it wasn't for the beautiful models and Darren who I fed inspiration from.

An eventful day...

On Friday my mum's friend came up from Luton, she is a fabulous lady and so much fun! We all went to see Bryan Adams on Thursday night which was great, no support and he did a set that lasted nearly 3 hours, it was awesome. Then on Friday morning I decided to take them into the studio to get some nice pictures done for then, just a chilled fun day, needless to say they had had a couple of glasses of Prosecco! 

My mum usually photographs beautifully but that day she just kept bursting into fits of laughter... very frustrating!

So after I shot the girls, I took a few more of Drew, some colourful ones with his deck & then some serious, moody ones. Maybe I am biased because I think he is the most amazing, handsome & loving man on the planet but I absolutely adore these photos of him!

Needless to say, this was an amazingly fun shoot! But it always is with Bryony & Ayleigh.

Ayleigh is a MUA who I have worked with on several occasions, but never anything like the shoot we did on 22nd November!

The retouching work was quite tricky due to lighting on areas of the skin and the item we used to cover up the eye but I am so pleased with the outcome!

After we had shot the girls left and my boyfriend came to meet me at the studio & I grabbed the opportunity to get some studio shots of him! Here are a few I took;

Wednesday with Abi, Darren & Karl.

Today at Freedom Light Studios, Darren and Karl taught me more about lighting and how it works, what looks good for different styles and I feel as though I learned a lot. We had the beautiful Abi Hill modelling for us, who has just won a campaign with Simply Be!
We did some simple lighting techniques, then some more that were a little more advanced. I did try and remember them all when I went into the studio the next time, I used a few but couldn't remember the rest.
I am just very glad to have 2 experienced and likeable guys to work alongside of and am very privilaged for the opportunity.
